Hello,

Unforgettable has reached CA$439.00 pledged today, which corresponds to 29% of our objective, CA$1.500,00. And that is really good! For example, if things go like this until the end we'd reach 348% of our objective.

BUT, things won't go that smoothly. Look at this graph:

This graph shows things went really well at the beginning of the project, but we're not doing so hot right now. There are many factors to consider on why we're not doing so well compared to the beginning:

THE FIRST one that comes to mind is that other data provided by Kickstarter shows that some really cool people seem to search for projects to back on the 'Newest' category. That would explain why we did so well when the project was one of the newest on the platform.

THE SECOND possible factor is that Kickstarter seemed to share this project with veteran backers who could be interested at the very beginning of our campaign.

THE THIRD factor is that it was a weekend. But as I was writing the very previous phrase I noticed that it was NOT a weekend when the graph was rising quickly. So yeah, no.

THE REAL THIRD FACTOR is that some of my friends donated some money when they saw my project. Thank you btw.

• SO WHAT ARE WE DOING RIGHT NOW?

The important part right now is being noticed. We did the best when we were being noticed through the Newest category. And recently, more and more backers seem to be coming from the 'Discovery Games' and 'Recomendations' pages of Kickstarter. Kickstarter is being more useful to me than my own efforts on publicity!

Talking about my own efforts, what am I doing to help with publicity? Apart from posting on all my social media, I'm also posting about the project on subreddits, discord servers and even My Anime List communities. And I'm also doing some paid promotion through the big guys, like Google Ads and Meta. So if you found out about this project through this efforts of mine that I just mentioned, let me know somewhere in the comments as that will validate my efforts and make me happy :)

• Ok so that's what we're doing right now. And what are we planning for the future?

Our very big plan for the future is more publicity. And the first step will be trying to get some help from anyone interested enough to read my next update here on itch.io asking for help. Yes.
