Unforgettable - 4th Dimensional Bartender

“Where am I?” you ask, looking around.

“You’re at my bar!” the bartender replies, gesturing to the bar around you with great emphasis.

“Am I dead?” you continue to ask, ignoring the bartender.

“No, you’re not dead.” the bartender says, pausing for a moment. “Although, someone could argue that you are dead actually.”

"What? What do you mean?" you say, confused by the vague answer.

"It depends on the definition of being alive that you use. If you consider the gods definition, being alive means you have authority over your own actions. By this definition, you're not dead." The bartender explains. "But I didn't pay much attention to mortality classes so don't take my answer too seriously"

"Okay... So I didn't die in that car accident?" you question, still looking for a satisfying answer.

"You were never involved in any car accident to begin with!" says the bartender, knowing you'd be surprised.

You don't say anything, expecting the bartender to explain it better.

"Well, someone exactly like you died in a car accident. A Human." They add. "I wouldn't bring a human to this bar though, since it would be illegal!" they say, with emphasis on the illegality of it. "So I brought you, an exact copy of that person."

"A copy? Of a person?" you ask, perplexed.

"Yes, but don't overthink it!" they quickly add, gesturing to calm down. "You're asking such complex questions already, have a drink first! What would you like to drink?"

You, after dying in a car accident, are reborn in a bar and welcomed by the bartender. 

But, as mysterious as the situation is, the bartender has nothing to hide. Rather, they're eager to serve you the best drinks and answer to any questions you may have.

Unforgettable is a game about crafting drinks and talking. But you're not talking to anyone, you're talking to someone who knows virtually everything.

The bartender has infinite time to spend and many things to tell, and you have a lot of questions to ask and drinks to try!

I'm Kalann and I am going to be the solo developer of Unforgettable. I am a Game Design and Digital Entertainment Bachelor student and I work as programmer. I've been making games both alone and in small teams for 5 years now and I found in making games a great place to express my creativity.

The games that I work on are games that I'd like to play, ideas I'd like to share and projects that I'd like to be part of. The projects I worked on progressed in complexity and quality over the course of these 5 years. I want Unforgettable to be my next project and I want it to be the greatest so far.
